02.09.2026 Aydın Commodity Exchange Showcases Aydın’s Agricultural Strength at Foodist Istanbul

Aydın Commodity Exchange participated in the Foodist Istanbul International Food and Beverage Products Fair, organized with the aim of bringing Türkiye’s food sector to international markets. Aydın Commodity Exchange is taking part in the fair to increase the visibility of Aydın’s strong agricultural production and export potential in both domestic and international markets. Through a joint stand with the Istanbul Commodity Exchange, with which it has a close institutional relationship, Aydın Commodity Exchange is supporting its members in establishing new business connections and reaching new markets.

Bringing Türkiye’s food sector together on an international trade-focused platform, the Foodist Istanbul International Food and Beverage Products Fair is being held from 1 to 4 September 2026 at the TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center. At the opening ceremony, attended by Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Minister of Agriculture and Forestry İbrahim Yumaklı, and sector representatives, discussions focused on Türkiye’s production capacity in the agriculture and food sectors, export strength, new market opportunities, and the future of the sector.

ÇONDUR: “WE MUST TURN AYDIN’S PRODUCTION STRENGTH INTO ADDED VALUE”

Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aydın Commodity Exchange, highlighted the importance of the fair for Aydın and stated that the province’s strong agricultural production base should be utilized more effectively in both domestic and international markets.

Çondur said, “With its diverse range of products, production capacity and commitment to quality, Aydın is one of Türkiye’s leading agricultural centers. Our priority is to ensure that the valuable agricultural and food products produced in Aydın reach more markets, generate greater added value, and that our companies strengthen their international competitiveness.”

Noting that international events such as Foodist offer important opportunities for companies, Çondur said, “These fairs provide our companies with valuable opportunities not only to showcase themselves, but also to establish new business connections and expand into different markets. As Aydın Commodity Exchange, we will continue to stand by our companies, supporting them in developing their export capacity and reaching new markets.”

Noting that many member companies of Aydın Commodity Exchange are also taking part in Foodist Istanbul, Çondur said, “We supported the participation of our members S.S. Şti. were among the Aydın Commodity Exchange members participating in the fair independently.

Following the opening ceremony, Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aydın Commodity Exchange, and the accompanying delegation visited the stands of the Exchange’s member companies and met with company representatives.

During the visits, views were exchanged on the companies’ production and export activities, products, existing markets and plans for entering new markets. The companies’ challenges and issues related to their export processes were also discussed.

AYDIN’S PRODUCTS MEET INTERNATIONAL BUYERS

Through its activities and meetings at the fair, Aydın Commodity Exchange is contributing to promoting Aydın’s agricultural production strength, helping its member companies reach new markets, and strengthening the position of products produced in the province in international trade. Throughout the fair, Aydın Commodity Exchange and its member companies are expected to continue their meetings with sector representatives and international buyers.
