TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Council

The Women Entrepreneurs Board is an advisory board within TOBB that develops general policies on women entrepreneurship and contributes to the formation of opinions. The Board was also established to support women entrepreneurs in realizing their entrepreneurial ideas through training, capacity building support.

TOBB Aydın Women Entrepreneurs Board, which continues its activities under the coordination of Aydın Commodity Exchange affiliated with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, carries out projects for women entrepreneurs under the roof of TOBB Aydın KGK Academy.

KGK, which has duties such as determining policies in order to develop and better equip the female entrepreneur potential in the province in terms of quantity and quality, leading the development of entrepreneurship culture among women, as well as providing career development opportunities to women by teaching them personal development paths, in this context;

• Determining policies in order to develop the potential of women entrepreneurs in the province in terms of quantity and quality and making them better equipped, 
• Leading the development of entrepreneurship culture among women in the province,
• Providing entrepreneurial spirit people with the opportunity to use their characteristics more effectively, providing those who are considering starting a business with the needs of the establishment and subsequent business maintenance processes. Organizing entrepreneurship trainings, seminars and panels in order to provide basic information and guidance,
• Determining measures that will help enterprises in sectors that will contribute to the development of the provincial economy and directing and encouraging women entrepreneurs in these sectors, 
• Council contributes to the formation of opinions by the Provincial Chambers/Commodity Exchanges on the issues of monitoring the developments regarding women entrepreneurship at home and abroad and administrative and legal regulations and delivering the information it collects to the relevant parties, ensuring the implementation of the relevant decisions taken by the TOBB Women Entrepreneurs Board Executive Committee in the province, and serves as the coordinator in this context.
