In accordance with Article 32 of the Law No. 5174 and Article 7 of the Regulation on The Exchange Of Trades regarding the implementation of this law, those engaged in the purchase or sale of substances included in the trade exchange division must register on the Commodity Exchange of their location. Any changes that occur in the status of those who are obliged to register on the Commodity Exchange and which must be registered and announced in accordance with the Turkish Commercial Code should be notified to the exchanges where they are registered within one month of their realization. The relevant Commodity Exchange, which receives information about an issue that is mandatory and not registered in the legal form and time, informs the relevant registrar of the status of those who do not fulfill this requirement in order to make the necessary registration changes. The registrar’s office is obliged to take the necessary actions upon this notification. Those who do not fulfill the registration requirement are recorded directly by the exchanges and notified to them.

Pursuant to Article 77 of the Law on Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey, late payment of registration fees, annual dues, additional contributions, chamber shares from freight revenues, exchange registration fees, and Union dues shall accrue a daily late payment interest in accordance with Law No. 6183 on the Procedure for the Collection of Public Receivables.

Pursuant to Article 46 of the Law No. 5174 on the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey and Chambers and Commodity Exchanges, transactions carried out at locations designated by the exchanges are registered on the same day, while transactions involving goods allowed to be traded outside the exchange must be registered within thirty days at the latest. If the registration obligation is not fulfilled within the specified periods without a valid reason, the registration fee is collected with a fifty percent surcharge.

Purchase and sale transactions registered with the exchange may be canceled by a decision of the Board of Directors upon the written request of the parties, or annulled by a decision of the arbitration board or a court. In the event of duplicate registration of the same purchase and sale transactions, the registration is canceled by a decision of the Board of Directors.
