03.02.2026 95th Anniversary of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s Visit to Aydın Commemorated with a Ceremony

Aydın Commodity Exchange Assembly Chairman Bahri Erdel attended the ceremony marking the 95th anniversary of Mustafa Kemal Atatürk’s visit to Aydın.

The commemoration, held in front of the Aydın Governor’s Office, began with a wreath-laying ceremony at the Atatürk Monument, followed by a moment of silence and the national anthem. Speeches highlighted the historical significance of Atatürk’s visit to the city and its importance for the region.

In his remarks, Bahri Erdel emphasized Atatürk’s determination during the War of Independence and the importance of preserving and passing on the core values of the Republic to future generations. He stated that they commemorate Atatürk with respect, gratitude, and appreciation, stressing that protecting and upholding the achievements of the Republic is a shared responsibility.
