Within the scope of the “Branding and Commercialization Strategies for Geographical Indications in Türkiye Project,” carried out in cooperation with the World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) and the Turkish Patent and Trademark Office (TÜRKPATENT), a “Marketing Strategies Training and Marketing Strategy Roadmap Workshop” was organized for geographical indication logo users.
The workshop focused on strategic topics aimed at positioning geographical indication products with a stronger brand identity in national and international markets, increasing their added value, and enhancing their export potential.
It was emphasized that the studies conducted specifically for Aydın Memecik Zeytinyağı are of great importance in ensuring that geographical indication products are positioned in the market with the right strategies and achieve sustainable commercial success.
In his evaluation of the workshop, Chairman of the Board of Aydın Commodity Exchange, Fevzi Çondur, stated that efforts will continue with determination to strengthen the brand identity of geographical indication products and to increase producers’ capacity to access international markets.
