The Aydın Commodity Exchange (ATB) took part in the WorldFood Istanbul 2025 – International Food Products and Technologies Exhibition, one of the leading events where the latest innovations and technologies of the food industry are showcased. The ATB stand attracted significant attention from both domestic and international visitors.

Together with its sister exchange, the Istanbul Commodity Exchange, and its members, the Aydın Commodity Exchange participated in WorldFood Istanbul 2025, held at TÜYAP Fair and Congress Center. This year’s event hosted around 1,400 companies and 3,200 brands from 40 different countries. With 40% of exhibitors representing international firms and more than 900 buyers from 100 countries, the fair served as a major global gathering. At the event, ATB and its members presented Aydın’s unique flavors and branded products to visitors from around the world.

WorldFood Istanbul Holds Strategic Importance for Our Members

Commenting on the fair, Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Board of Aydın Commodity Exchange, emphasized that the Exchange continues its efforts to enhance the global competitiveness and export capacity of its members. Highlighting the importance of trade fairs in achieving this goal, Çondur stated:

“WorldFood Istanbul holds strategic importance for both our Exchange and our members. This year marks our fourth participation in the fair. Our members—Geta Farm, Mustabey Çiftliği, Bilara, Gurme Enginar, and Yeşilbaşak Olea—had the opportunity to present their wide range of products to international visitors and establish new business connections. WorldFood Istanbul is a fair where the heart of the global food industry beats, showcasing the latest innovations in food products and technologies. It offers our members an invaluable opportunity to increase their international visibility and open doors to new collaborations.”

A Close Look at Global Food Trends

Underlining that WorldFood Istanbul serves as an international meeting point for the Turkish food sector, Çondur noted that the fair provides a platform not only for introducing new products and technologies but also for strengthening existing trade relations and forming new partnerships.

“At this fair, our members not only reinforce relationships with their current clients but also have the opportunity to explore new markets and partnerships. From the United States to Brazil, Italy to Poland, China to India, and South Korea to Saudi Arabia—key players from around the world are participating. This demonstrates the strong global position of WorldFood Istanbul. Moreover, such fairs are crucial for expanding our export volume, closely following global food trends, and developing strategies aligned with those trends. The bilateral meetings and contacts established throughout the fair help our members strengthen their presence in foreign markets.”

New Partnerships and Export Opportunities

Çondur emphasized that the fair was highly productive for both the Aydın Commodity Exchange and its members:

“Throughout the event, our members held important bilateral meetings to strengthen existing collaborations, find new trade partners, and expand into new markets. The products cultivated by Aydın’s farmers and exported with added value by our traders received great acclaim from visitors. We will continue to support our members in gaining a stronger position in global markets.”

He also extended his gratitude to the Istanbul Commodity Exchange, the participating members of the Aydın Commodity Exchange, and all visitors for their contributions.

EU-Registered Aydın Memecik Zeytinyağı Impresses Visitors
