Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aydın Commodity Exchange and Chairman of the National Cotton Council, shared his views in a video recorded as part of the Farm to Fashion International B2B Summit by İPUD communications consultants Burcu Çevik Şahin and Murat Şahin.

Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aydın Commodity Exchange and Chairman of the National Cotton Council, spoke about the Farm to Fashion International B2B Summit, which will be held in İzmir from 6 to 8 October, and invited all industry stakeholders to attend the event. Emphasizing that cotton is not only an important agricultural product for Türkiye but also one of the key elements of the global competitiveness of the textile and apparel industry, Çondur highlighted the importance of the summit. Çondur continued: “Cotton is not only an important agricultural product for Türkiye; it is also one of the key elements of the global competitiveness of our textile and apparel industry. The Farm to Fashion International B2B Summit, which will be held in İzmir from 6 to 8 October, will bring together the entire value chain from farm to fashion. One of the key topics of the summit will be the equivalence study between Good Agricultural Practices in Türkiye and Better Cotton standards, which will be presented to the industry.”

Çondur said he was pleased to be part of this important event as the National Cotton Council, which aims to strengthen the position of Turkish cotton in international markets.
