Aydın Commodity Exchange Vice Chairman Cengiz Ülgen attended the 103rd Anniversary Celebrations for the liberation of our district of Presidential Palace from enemy occupation.
Prior to the ceremony, Presidential Palace District Governor Hasan Taş laid a wreath at the Atatürk Monument in the city square. Following a moment of silence, the National Anthem was sung. The celebration, which drew a large crowd, included speeches and poems recited about the significance of the day, followed by a folk dance performance.
Expressing his feelings and thoughts on the anniversary of the liberation of the Presidential Palace from enemy occupation on September 6th, Cengiz Ülgen said, “This meaningful day is one of the symbols of our struggle for independence. I commemorate all our martyrs, especially Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk and his comrades-in-arms, with respect and our veterans with gratitude.”
