Aydın Commodity Exchange Assembly President A. Bahri Erdel attended the ceremony commemorating the 103rd anniversary of the liberation of Aydın, the pearl of the Aegean, the Land of the Swashbucklers, from enemy occupation.

The ceremony began in front of the Aydın Governor's Office, where wreaths were laid at the Atatürk Monument. Following the presentation of the Governor's Office Wreath, the Garrison Command Wreath, and the Metropolitan Municipality Wreath, the celebrations continued in Atatürk City Square after a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem.

Expressing his feelings and thoughts on the anniversary of Aydın's liberation from enemy occupation on September 7th, Aydın Commodity Exchange Assembly President A. Bahri Erdel said, "September 7th is one of the most important turning points in the struggle for independence and freedom of our fellow citizens of Aydın. We celebrate the anniversary of our city's liberation from enemy occupation with great pride and enthusiasm. Today, we celebrate the liberation of Aydın and commemorate the heroes of the War of Independence who gifted us a free country. On this occasion, I commemorate all our heroes, especially Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with mercy, gratitude, and respect. I hope that the unity and solidarity of our noble nation will continue forever."
