07.10.2025 Aydın Commodity Exchange Participates in GEKA Collective Opening Ceremony

Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Aydın Commodity Exchange (AYTB), Parliament Chairman A. Bahri Erdel, and Vice Chairman Cengiz Ülgen attended the collective opening ceremony organized by the South Aegean Development Agency (GEKA), hosted by Minister of Industry and Technology Fatih Kacır, who visited Aydın for various programs.

The ceremony, held at Adnan Menderes University Conference Hall, marked the inauguration of 10 projects implemented in the province, including Büyük Menderes Agricultural Products Licensed Warehousing Inc. (BMLİDAŞ), a subsidiary of the Aydın Commodity Exchange.

Speaking at the event, Minister Fatih Kacır highlighted the 18,000-ton licensed warehouse as the largest project among the newly inaugurated investments. He stated:
"This facility enables cotton producers to safely store their products, facilitates access to financing, encourages high-quality production, strengthens trade standards in cotton, increases farmers’ income, and enhances Aydın’s reputation in agricultural trade."

 Chairman Fevzi Çondur emphasized the strategic importance of the investment, noting:
"BMLİDAŞ was established in partnership with the Söke Commodity Exchange and İzmir Commodity Exchange. This project aims to strengthen the regional economy and ensure that agricultural products are stored safely and hygienically. I hope this investment brings benefits to our country and province. I also believe that the other projects inaugurated will make significant contributions to our city, and I extend my gratitude to all who contributed."
