Aydın Commodity Exchange took part in the Energy Efficiency Support Program initiated under the Turkey-EU Business Dialogue (TEBD II) Program, conducted by Eurochambres on behalf of the EU Delegation to Turkey, in cooperation with the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB).
Represented by Project and Trademark Officer Emine Ceylan Özdemir, the program included 25 selected representatives from chambers and exchanges nationwide. It aims to train “Energy Efficiency Ambassadors” who will support SMEs in adopting energy-saving practices.
Participants received extensive training from EU experts on practical energy management tools, methodologies, and mentoring techniques. After completion, ambassadors will conduct energy audits and raise awareness on energy efficiency among SMEs in their regions.
Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of Aydın Commodity Exchange, commented:
“Energy efficiency is crucial not only for environmental sustainability but also for enhancing business competitiveness and reducing costs. We are proud to be part of this program and will continue supporting our members’ transition towards green transformation.”
This initiative seeks to contribute to sustainable economic growth and strengthen constructive cooperation between the EU and Turkey.
