10.08.2026 Aydın Commodity Exchange Participated in the Fresh Fig Festival

The 19th Buharkent Fresh Fig Festival, organized this year by Buharkent Municipality, began with a parade. Aydın Commodity Exchange Assembly President A. Bahri Erdel and Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors Cengiz Ülgen attended the festival on behalf of Aydın Commodity Exchange.

The festival featured a variety of events to promote fresh figs, one of Aydın’s important agricultural products, and support the efforts of local producers. The fresh fig competition, local events, and cultural and artistic programs held as part of the festival attracted considerable interest. The event highlighted Buharkent’s importance in fresh fig production and its contribution to the regional economy.
