11.06.2026 Aydın Commodity Exchange Attended the Soil Protection Board Meeting

The Soil Protection Board Meeting was held at the Aydın Governor's Office Meeting Hall under the chairmanship of Aydın Governor Dr. Osman Varol.

The meeting focused on issues related to the protection and development of Aydın's agricultural potential. Agenda items concerning the sustainable management of soil resources, the strengthening of agricultural production, and the prevention of the conversion of agricultural land to non-agricultural use were discussed and assessed.

The meeting was attended by representatives of various public institutions and organizations. Aydın Commodity Exchange was represented by Assembly Chairman A. Bahri Erdel.

Following the meeting, Assembly Chairman A. Bahri Erdel emphasized the importance of protecting agricultural land for the sustainability of agricultural production, stating:

"Aydın is one of Türkiye's leading agricultural regions, distinguished by its fertile soils and strong agricultural production capacity. Protecting our agricultural land is essential to ensuring the sustainability of agricultural production and preserving these valuable resources for future generations.
