11.10.2025 Aydın Commodity Exchange Assembly President A. Bahri Erdel Attended the 10 November Atatürk Commemoration Ceremony

Aydın Commodity Exchange Assembly President A. Bahri Erdel participated in the 10 November Atatürk Commemoration Program, marking the 87th anniversary of the passing of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, the founder of the Republic of Türkiye.

The ceremony began with a wreath-laying at the Atatürk Monument in front of the Aydın Governorship. Following this, Atatürk’s 10th Year Speech was played, and at 09:05 a.m., a two-minute moment of silence was observed, after which the Turkish National Anthem was performed. Flags were flown at half-mast throughout the ceremony.

Speaking on the significance of the day, Assembly President A. Bahri Erdel stated:

“Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, a great commander and statesman who dedicated his life to his country and worked tirelessly for his nation, is an exemplary leader both for the Turkish people and the world. In his 57 years of life, he led the nation from battlefield to battlefield in the struggle for independence, laying the foundations of our Republic with this spirit of struggle. Following the victory in the War of Independence, he implemented all his reforms. The strength and modernity of today’s Republic of Türkiye owe much to Atatürk’s revolutionary vision. 10 November is a day when Atatürk left us physically, but his ideas live on forever. On the 87th anniversary of his passing, we remember Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk with respect, gratitude, and longing.”
