13.02.2026 Aydın Hosts One of Turkey’s Leading Agricultural Fairs

The 13th International Aydın Agriculture, Food and Livestock Fair, one of the leading events in the agriculture, food, and livestock sectors, opened its doors to visitors with the participation of 800 brands and 359 companies. Showcasing the latest technologies, products, and services, the fair offers significant commercial opportunities for both domestic and international companies while aiming to make a strong contribution to the regional economy.

The opening ceremony, held at the S.S. 46 Tariş Cotton Sales Cooperative Fairground, was attended by Aydın Governor Yakup Canbolat, Aydın Commodity Exchange Chairman Fevzi Çondur, Assembly Chairman A. Bahri Erdel, Vice Chairman of the Board Cengiz Ülgen, Deputy Assembly Chairman Ahmet Şenel, Board Member Cihan Can, Assembly Members Adem Türkmen, Mehmet Ali Avcu, Mustafa Hakan Adalı, and Mehmet Akkan. Provincial officials, as well as chamber and exchange presidents, were also present.

In his opening speech, Governor Yakup Canbolat highlighted Aydın’s strong agricultural structure and noted that the fair has become a traditional event. He recalled that last year’s fair hosted around 500,000 visitors with the participation of 580 brands and generated a trade volume of 7.5 billion TL. This year, the number of brands has increased to 800 and companies to 359. He stated that more than 500,000 visitors and approximately 8 billion TL in trade volume are expected, expressing his hope that the fair will be fruitful for farmers and industrialists.

Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Aydın Commodity Exchange, emphasized that Aydın is one of Turkey’s leading cities in agriculture and livestock thanks to its land quality and production expertise. He stated that the fair is being held for the 13th time this year and that their initial goal was to rank among Turkey’s top five agricultural fairs. Last year, the fair became the fourth largest in Turkey in terms of visitor numbers.

Çondur noted that last year’s event reached approximately 500,000 visitors and a trade volume of 7.5 billion TL. This year, the fair has grown stronger with 800 brands and 359 companies. He added that they are again aiming for over 500,000 visitors and an 8 billion TL trade volume. As Aydın Commodity Exchange, they are pleased to host producers and traders not only from Aydın but also from across Turkey, emphasizing that the fair is an important event showcasing Aydın’s agricultural strength and fostering new collaborations among sector stakeholders.
