The 2025 Service Honor Certificate and Plaque Ceremony organized by the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) was held at TOBB Twin Towers in Ankara. The event was hosted by TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and attended by President Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat, Minister of Justice Yılmaz Tunç, and Minister of Industry and Technology Mehmet Fatih Kacır.
Representing Aydın Commodity Exchange, Chairman Fevzi Çondur and Assembly President A. Bahri Erdel participated in the ceremony.
In his speech, TOBB President Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized global uncertainties and Türkiye’s growing international influence, thanking President Erdoğan for his leadership. He highlighted the need for structural economic reforms, improved access to finance—especially for SMEs—and support for labor-intensive industries like textiles.
President Erdoğan congratulated TOBB members receiving honor plaques, praising their contributions to Türkiye’s economic development. He underlined Türkiye’s transformation in the past 23 years, including record-breaking export levels and achievements such as the domestically-produced TOGG car. Erdoğan acknowledged TOBB’s continued support and cooperation throughout this period.
Trade Minister Ömer Bolat also spoke, underlining Türkiye’s export growth and the government's commitment to economic development under the “Century of Türkiye” vision. He noted that Türkiye's annual exports have risen 7.7 times over the past 22 years, reaching $377 billion.
Following the speeches, plaques and certificates were presented to TOBB members in recognition of their long-term service and contributions to the Turkish business community.
