16.12.2025 Aydın Commodity Exchange Participated in the Denizli Business Community Consultation Meeting

With the participation of M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu, President of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey (TOBB), the Denizli Business Community Consultation Meeting, hosted by the Denizli Chamber of Industry, was attended by Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Aydın Commodity Exchange, and A. Bahri Erdel, Chairman of the Assembly of the Aydın Commodity Exchange.

In his speech at the meeting, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that Denizli has a strong industrial infrastructure, particularly in metal, machinery, casting, electrical and electronics, and textiles. He expressed his satisfaction with the efforts carried out to integrate the regional industry into the defense and aviation ecosystem and shared his assessments on the current economic agenda.

Hisarcıklıoğlu stated that the competitive and financing challenges faced by the textile and ready-to-wear sectors were conveyed during the meeting, highlighting the need to facilitate access to finance for SMEs. He underlined the importance of reducing inflation to single digits and noted that restrictive regulations on access to credit should be lifted, the foreign exchange conversion support scheme should be simplified, and solutions should be found for the private sector’s VAT receivables.

During the meeting, Fevzi Çondur and A. Bahri Erdel held consultations on the current issues faced by the business community and possible solutions, closely following the initiatives being carried out at both regional and national levels.
