Cengiz Ülgen, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aydın Commodity Exchange, attended the “First Fig Purchase Ceremony” and “Registration Award Ceremony” of the 2025-2026 season hosted by Nazilli Commodity Exchange.

The organization, which is traditionally held every year by the Nazilli Commodity Exchange, brought together both producers and sector representatives and helped the fig market to start the new season.

While the symbolic purchase of the first figs of the season was made at the ceremony, registration awards were presented to successful enterprises.

During the ceremony, the strategic importance of fig production for the regional economy and exports was emphasized, and the expectations of producers and operators for the new season were expressed. In addition, the importance of cooperation and solidarity for the sustainability of the sector was emphasized once again.
