Aydın Commodity Exchange reviewed the projects and services it has implemented in line with members’ demands during a Member Information Meeting held in Antalya within the scope of the Growtech 24th International Greenhouse, Agriculture Technologies and Livestock Equipment Fair. The meeting was attended by the Chairman of the Board Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Assembly A. Bahri Erdel, board and assembly members, disciplinary board members, and exchange members.

During the meeting, detailed information was shared on the Exchange’s activities, including laboratory services, storage solutions, geographical indication studies, promotion and tasting events, sectoral meetings, and e-commerce initiatives. Chairman Fevzi Çondur stated that the Aydın Commodity Exchange ranks among the top 14 commodity exchanges in Türkiye in terms of registered transaction volume and second in the Aegean Region, adding that nearly TRY 1 billion worth of investments have been brought into the regional and national economy since he took office.

Mr. Çondur highlighted innovative services such as the Industrial Property Consultancy Unit, “Ask a Lawyer” service, online fee collection system, and the “Yöresel Aydın” e-commerce platform, which currently serves 62 active members. He also announced that the Renewable Energy-Based R&D and Survey Center Project, supported by Ministry of Industry and Technology, will contribute to processing, branding, and marketing high value-added local products through a sustainable, solar-powered infrastructure.

Emphasizing leadership in geographical indications, Mr. Çondur noted that several Aydın products have been registered both nationally and at the EU level, placing Aydın first among Turkish provinces in EU geographical indication registrations. He also underlined the growing success of the Aydın Agriculture Fair and the need for a modern fairground in the city.

In addition, the Exchange’s strong commitment to social responsibility was highlighted, including education support provided to approximately 4,500 students and food aid to families in need. The program concluded with training sessions on labor law, mediation practices, protocol and etiquette, and personal brand development, offering participants a comprehensive educational experience.
