The 82nd General Assembly of the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) was held in Ankara under the hosting of TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu and with the participation of Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat. Representatives from chambers and commodity exchanges across Türkiye attended the meeting held at TOBB University of Economics and Technology.
Aydın Commodity Exchange was represented by Chairman of the Board Fevzi Çondur, Assembly Chairman A. Bahri Erdel, Vice Chairmen of the Assembly Ali Çevik and Ahmet Şenel, Vice Chairman of the Board Cengiz Ülgen, Board Member Rıza Uyar, Assembly Members Adem Türkmen, Mehmet Ali Avcu, Mustafa Hakan Adalı, and Secretary General Neslihan Duymaz.
During the sessions, participants discussed the current outlook of the Turkish economy, recent developments in trade, and efforts aimed at strengthening the private sector. Views were also exchanged on the expectations of the business community, economic transformation processes, and production-oriented growth policies.
In his speech, TOBB President M. Rifat Hisarcıklıoğlu emphasized that chambers and commodity exchanges continue to work intensively to solve the problems of their members and stated that the TOBB community remains committed to contributing to Türkiye’s economic development through unity and solidarity.
Minister of Trade Ömer Bolat highlighted ongoing efforts to support exports, facilitate access to finance, enhance digitalization in customs procedures, and strengthen tradesmen and cooperatives. He also expressed his wishes for the General Assembly to bring positive outcomes for the business world.
Aydın Commodity Exchange Chairman Fevzi Çondur stated that TOBB is one of the leading institutions shaping the Turkish economy and expressed his hope that the 82nd General Assembly would bring beneficial results for the country, the business community, and the TOBB network.
