Cengiz Ülgen, Vice Chairman of the Aydın Commodity Exchange Board of Directors, attended the 2024 Ordinary General Assembly of the Turkish Specialized Commodity Exchange (TÜRİB), held at TOBB Twin Towers in Ankara.
During the meeting, TÜRİB’s activities and performance for the year 2024 were reviewed, and key agenda items were discussed and approved. The discussions focused on TÜRİB’s role in enabling agricultural products to be traded in an efficient, transparent, and sustainable system, as well as its contributions to the sector and future goals.
Following the meeting, Ülgen stated:
“We highly value TÜRİB’s contribution to ensuring that agricultural products are traded reliably and transparently in an electronic environment. We were pleased to observe that its 2024 activities were productive for the agricultural sector.”
Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Aydın Commodity Exchange Board of Directors, stated:
“As Aydın Commodity Exchange, we will continue to play an active role on all platforms that contribute to the development of agriculture and trade. We remain ready to fulfill our responsibilities to better support our producers and sector representatives, as we have always done. I hope that the decisions made will be beneficial for our country’s agriculture and all stakeholders.”
