The 103rd anniversary of Victory Day, August 30, was celebrated with a ceremony coordinated by the Aydın Governorate of the Republic of Turkey. A. Bahri Erdel attended the ceremony representing the Aydın Commodity Exchange.
The program, held in front of the Governorate, began with the laying of a wreath at the Atatürk Monument by the Aydın Governorate, the Garrison Command, and the Aydın Metropolitan Municipality. Following a moment of silence and the singing of the National Anthem, speeches were delivered emphasizing the significance of the day.
Following the ceremony, Aydın Commodity Exchange Assembly President A. Bahri Erdel emphasized that August 30th was one of the most important steps our nation took on its path to independence, saying: “The August 30th Victory is the greatest symbol of the Turkish nation's struggle for independence and freedom. We commemorate all our heroes who sacrificed their lives for our homeland, especially Ghazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, with mercy, gratitude, and respect. This great victory laid the foundations of the Republic entrusted to us. Today, we continue to march toward the future with the same faith and determination.”
The ceremony, which drew intense interest from the people of Aydın, witnessed the joy and pride of August 30th.
