31.08.2026 Aydın Commodity Exchange Participated in Minister Yumaklı’s Program in Aydın

The Republic of Türkiye’s Minister of Agriculture and Forestry, İbrahim Yumaklı, visited Aydın for a series of meetings and inspections. Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aydın Commodity Exchange, and Ahmet Şenel, Vice Chairman of the Assembly of Aydın Commodity Exchange, attended Minister Yumaklı’s program in Aydın.

As part of the program held at the Fig Research Institute Directorate in İncirliova, Minister Yumaklı took part in the fig harvest and met with producers and sector representatives. Discussions focused on ensuring the sustainability of fig production, improving productivity and quality, supporting producers, and strengthening the sector’s export capacity.

The program also covered the status of figs, one of Aydın’s key agricultural products, from production to export, as well as efforts to further develop the sector. Following the program, Fevzi Çondur, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Aydın Commodity Exchange, presented Minister Yumaklı with a selection of Aydın’s local products as a gift.
